Chapter 8: The Journey To A New Kingdom

Chapter 8: The Journey to a New Kingdom

Two Years Later…

At 15 years old, Reo had become a name that shook the entire guild.

His strength had grown beyond what anyone could have imagined. He had completed dozens of high-rank quests, slain monsters that even veteran adventurers feared, and was now considered one of the youngest top-tier fighters in the region.

Yet, Reo wasn't satisfied.

He wanted more.

The guild was too small for his ambitions. The challenges weren't enough anymore. He needed a greater battlefield, stronger enemies, and a place where the truly powerful gathered.

And he knew exactly where to go—The Kingdom of Eldoria.

A Conversation with His Parents

That night, Reo sat at the dinner table with his parents. His father, Leonel Arcane, a former S-Rank adventurer, drank from his mug while his mother, Selene Arcane, watched him with a knowing smile.

Reo cleared his throat. "I've decided—I'm leaving for Eldoria."

His father stopped mid-drink, raising an eyebrow. "Oh? And why's that?"

"I want stronger opponents. I need to test myself against the best."

His mother chuckled. "So impatient, just like your father."

Leonel grinned. "I can't argue with that. But Eldoria isn't a place for rookies, Reo."

Reo smirked. "Do I look like a rookie to you?"

Leonel laughed. "No, I suppose not." He leaned forward. "Did you know? Before we settled down here, your mother and I were in Eldoria. We were part of The Guild of Legends."

Reo's eyes widened. "Wait, what?"

Selene nodded. "That's where we met. It's a guild where only the strongest gather. If you want a real challenge, you're heading to the right place."

Reo clenched his fists in excitement. "Perfect."

Leonel's expression grew serious. "But be careful. Eldoria is full of monsters in human form—not just the ones you hunt, but adventurers who will see you as competition."

Reo grinned. "That's exactly what I'm looking for."

Selene sighed. "At least take Lucia with you."

Reo blinked. "Lucia?"

As if on cue, Lucia kicked open the door and marched inside.

"Did I hear my name?" she asked, placing a hand on her hip.

Selene smiled. "Reo is leaving for Eldoria. I want you to go with him."

Lucia crossed her arms. "You were planning to leave without me, weren't you?"

Reo scratched his head. "Well… I figured you had your own plans."

Lucia scowled. "Idiot. Of course, I'm going with you."

Reo chuckled. "Alright, alright. Let's do this together."

Departure to Eldoria

The next morning, Reo and Lucia set off on their journey.

The road to Eldoria was long and filled with dangers—monsters, bandits, and rival adventurers seeking to test their strength. But none of that mattered.

Because their real adventure was just beginning.

Celestia Watches from Above

High in the celestial realm, Goddess Celestia watched as Reo and Lucia made their way toward Eldoria. A playful smile curved her lips.

"Finally, my love… we will meet again soon."

A divine light shimmered around her.

The time was approaching.

And soon, she would descend to his side.
