All the tables, chairs, and benches around were shattered, and the window glass broke into pieces. The bar collapsed in the blink of an eye.
Meanwhile, Neal was thrown backward like a cannonball, crashing through the wall behind him and creating a hole before falling onto the concrete ground outside.
"So strong..." Neal managed to utter a few words before a large amount of blood gushed from his mouth. He twitched a few times before succumbing to his injuries.
He never imagined that as the underground emperor of Cloud City, a hero admired by thousands, he would one day lose his life because of a little girl. If he were given another chance, he probably wouldn't have dared to take on the Thunder family's job. However, there were no second chances in life. Good and evil were repaid accordingly, and everything had its cause and effect.
Due to his excitement, Billy's wound worsened, causing him to vomit blood. He knelt on both knees, tears streaming down his face, and let out a loud cry that echoed through the sky.
Was he too late?
"Tasha… she's just a four or five-year-old child!" Billy thought to himself.
A little while later, the sound of hurried footsteps came from the door. Winston arrived with over a hundred fully armed police officers, each looking as if they were facing a formidable enemy.
As they entered the lobby, they all gasped in shock at the scene before them. What was once a bustling restaurant had turned into a human purgatory, horrifying to behold.
The officers in the front row saw Neal lying motionless in the distance, their faces filled with disbelief. What shocked them the most was that Neal Hoffman, the king of the underground world of Cloud City, had been killed.
"Stay put!" Winston ordered, withdrawing his gaze from Neal's body and turning to his subordinates. His shock was no less than theirs. Even before Billy's call, when he had asked Winston to come and clean up the aftermath, Winston had a vague suspicion that something significant had happened. Therefore, after hanging up, he immediately gathered his team and rushed over.
He had been fighting Neal for years and knew exactly how strong his enemy was. Neal Hoffman's party was ruthless, cunning, and commanded over a thousand underlings. Even though Winston knew the members of the Army of Bloodshadow were highly skilled, it was unimaginable for anyone to take on a hundred opponents at once.
If anything had happened to the Commander within his jurisdiction, he would be in deep trouble.
Now, after witnessing the aftermath, he finally understood Billy's true strength.
Everyone remained frozen in place.
"Commander, are you… are you okay?" Winston asked hesitantly as he approached Billy, keeping about ten meters between them. It wasn't that he didn't want to get closer; the overwhelming killing intent radiating from Billy's body made it impossible to take even a step forward. Even at this distance, Winston felt suffocated by the intensity of it and couldn't help but tremble.
"You should know about the Thunder family's situation," Billy said gravely, standing up and turning to face Winston.
"The Thunder family?" Winston met Billy's gaze and nearly collapsed on the spot.
"Who are its key members?" Billy asked.
"Garth Thunder and Duncan Thunder are the old-timers of the family. Duncan has no children, while Garth has two sons and a daughter. Franklin Thunder, Garth's eldest son, and Iris Thunder, his daughter, manage the family's main businesses—nightclubs, casinos, martial arts clubs, and so on. Ainsley Thunder oversees the family's legitimate businesses and serves as CEO of Thunder Group."
"He is highly valued by Garth among his three children. Unless something unexpected happens, he is expected to be the next successor to lead the Thunder family."
"Does Ainsley have a daughter about Tasha's age?" Billy interrupted.
"Yes. She turned six today…" Winston suddenly realized something and shuddered. "Sir… are you saying…?"
"Ainsley's daughter needs a heart transplant, and Tasha happens to be a match," Billy said coldly.
"So where is Tasha now?" Winston asked, taking a deep breath.
"Garth took her to Enssea." Billy's eyes burned with fury.
"What?!" Winston exclaimed in shock. He understood exactly what that meant.
"Track Ainsley's phone immediately and locate him," Billy ordered sternly.
Winston nodded vigorously, quickly pulling out his phone to give instructions.
In less than five minutes, Winston's phone rang.
"Boss, we found Ainsley!" After answering the call, Winston turned to Billy. "He's at a club under the Thunder family."
"Send me the address," Billy said before quickly walking out of the lobby. "Clean up here. Don't worry about Ainsley for now—I'll call you when I need you!"
"Got it!" Winston responded before sending the club's address to Billy.
Two minutes later, Billy started his car, slammed on the gas, and sped off like a rocket.
Soon after, Casey called.
"What's going on? What happened with Harleen?" Billy asked.
"The head of the Pena family kidnapped Miss Knight and her family. They want her to come back with you and apologize to his son," Casey reported.
"They really don't know their place!" Billy frowned. "Is it resolved?"
"Yes." Casey nodded. "From now on, I don't think the Pena family will dare to bother Miss Knight or her family again."
After a brief pause, Casey continued, "Commander, how is your situation? Did you find Tasha?"
"The Thunder family did it," Billy replied coldly, then briefly explained the situation.
"The Thunder family is despicable!" Casey exclaimed.
"I'll send you the address. Go there immediately, and we'll meet up," Billy instructed.
"Understood."
Half an hour later, Billy slammed on the brakes and parked in front of a high-end club in downtown Cloud City.
"Commander!"
As soon as Billy stepped out of the car, he saw Casey approaching quickly.
Billy nodded. "Let's go inside."
