The Karna awakening ceremony is an event held at the end of each year. Exactly on the last day of the year. All students or anyone wishing to obtain their karna can either go through a school ceremony for students. If one isn't a student of an educational institution that performs the ceremony. They can go to their sector hall.

The Hunter state has 10 sectors like most other stars. Each state has a Sector hall where the government officials that are in charge of their sector work. A person can go to this hall and request a chance to use their realm tunnels to manifest their karna.

Within the auditorium of High Cliffs High School a large gathering of students, potential students and parents can be seen. The principal stood on stage dignified as always as he gave his speech to the audience. Samuel, Billy, Blessed, and a few new friends can be seen within the crowd waiting for what's about to happen. It was not their first time seeing the ceremony, but this time felt different. The people that would go on stage this time are their friends and they are all excited to see them.

It didn't take long before the students of Jennifer's year came up. They were all 16 and ready to obtain their karna. Everyone wanted a powerful or very useful karna. Because having one would change the lives of many of them. Whether it was to bring their families out of poverty to become wealthy by themselves or to join the top academy that trains Karna users. Having a good Karna in general would just be a good thing for anyone.

Student after student went to the realm tunnel and exited it evolving from their previous selves. Unfortunately, most students only acquired 1 to 3-star Karna with a few 4-stars. So far not much was expected from this year's batch. After all only the Royals were known to be talented enough to consistently have their youths obtain 5 stars and higher Karna. Soon it was time for the members of the secret club to get there. In Jennifer's year of students, only 6 people had joined the club. The first to go up was a well-built guy, Samuel didn't know much about him. They were acquaintances at best. As the guy walked into the portal a brighter golden light than usual appeared. He soon exited the portal and summoned his Karna. It was a pistol, it looked as ordinary as possible. But the 5 glowing stars around it made people know it was anything but ordinary.

"Hey, one of our guys got a powerful Karna. Do you think the rest will also get one as good as he's?" Blessed asked the rest. " I don't know man. Nobody apart from the royalty knows what determines the number of stars a Karna will get. So all we can do is hope" Samuel said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Everyone was surprised by a person getting a 5-star Karna. But the surprise did not end there, the next 2 people also got 5-star Karna. Followed by a young lady obtaining a 6-star bracelet. The principal, staff, soldiers and the audience were stunned. This was not something that happened often. For so many students to obtain such powerful Karna. The principal could only laugh in joy and say "It seems our school has been exceptionally lucky this year hahaha truly amazing "

Tina soon went forward and entered the portal. A golden light brighter than those before it appeared from within the portal. Tina soon exited the portal with a beautiful pink and purple hat. Seven golden stars beautifully dance around her body. To most people in the audience, the hat's design was weird. But the members of the secret club recognized it 'a witch hat' they all thought.

" Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is that real?" One guy said. " Seven stars, I've gotten the opportunity to see such an amazing thing. Who will believe me if I tell them I saw a 7-star Karna?" Another person said in the audience. Everyone was stunned into silence until a burst of cheers erupted. People celebrating the birth of a genius, a 7-star Karna could only be estimated to be one in one hundred million possibilities.

They knew this event would make headlines on various news stations for sure. People used their wristwatches and other devices to take pictures and record Tina.

The girl herself was stunned speechless by her Karna. She turned to Jennifer and they both hugged each other and celebrated. After a while of cheering the principal was able to calm the people down long enough to let Jennifer go into the portal peacefully.

The moment she entered the once blue portal fully turned golden. The intensity of the light was so radiant that some people had to close their eyes. After a few seconds, the light faded and Jennifer exited the portal. "Hey young lady, please summon your karna," a nervous soldier told her. Jennifer dazedly nodded her head and did as she was told. "Swoosh!" the sound of the wind was heard and soon a wave of black sand appeared around Jennifer. Her eyes glowed in 2 vibrant colors.

The wave reached a few meters tall and was about to hit the sealing. Then the wave suddenly stopped and retracted back towards Jennifer. Everyone was slightly panicking at the display. But their mouths soon hung open in shock at the sight that presented itself before them.

The black wave quickly shrunk as it softly danced around Jennifer's body. Its form shifted and the once beautiful-looking girl was replaced by a floating armoured figure. 10 majestic stars danced around her in a manner that left the audience in shock. The auditorium fell into silence a few seconds before the soldier in charge of everything started screaming into his communication device.

"This is Squad leader Barack requesting assistance at High Cliffs public high school in sector 9 of the Hunter State. Please hurry there is a 10-star Karna user that just manifested today." The severity of the situation could be felt from his voice. Everyone was at first stunned but soon began celebrating again.

Samuel and the others tried going to see Jennifer but multiple soldiers didn't allow them to. The event escalated and within 20 minutes new soldiers appeared and took Jennifer away. " Sir there is also a 7-star user here. The girl with pink hair" a soldier spoke to his superior. " take her as well" the superior said and soon Jennifer and Tina were taken away.

" what just happened did Jennifer and Tina get into trouble somehow?" Billy asked the whole group but no one had an answer. "I'm not sure what is happening but most likely they are being recruited. It has always been the case that people with 5 stars and above get recruited by the military academy or by the Celestial Academy. It's just not usually…this rushed" Samuel says trying to reassure himself more than the others.

" Yeah, that's most likely the case. I don't think the federation would have any reason to harm talented individuals like them… unless they have brainwashing technology" a gloomy-looking black-haired boy said. His name's Rick Bachmann and his the newest member of the main group.

Everyone turned their eyes towards him with deadpan expressions on their face. "what?... It's a possibility" he added on feeling the need to defend himself. "Let's not think negatively ok…they'll be back," Blessed said in an attempt to cheer the guys up. 'Yeah they'll be back, they have to come back.' Everyone thought so. Even the other 4 members that had just awakened.

The ceremony continued but nothing out of the ordinary happened. The same usual 1 to 3-star Karna kept appearing. Which honestly made the principal feel relieved. All this excitement was too much for him. He knew how such unusual events would get the federation's attention and have multiple officials breathing down his neck. So he hoped that no more geniuses would appear.

Although it was good for their school's reputation, the stress and troubles it would cause him to experience were not something he was looking forward to.

The whole situation was soon resolved. Jennifer, Tina and the other club members were recruited. Most decided to go to Celestial Academy while only one guy went to the military academy. These academies are the only and best place to train talented Karna users to reach their full potential.

They are based on planet Solomon, the largest habitable planet in the federation. That meant that Jennifer and Tina left Earth not too long after. They barely had time to say goodbye but even then. They still made promises to keep in touch. Jennifer and Tina became especially famous due to their Karnas.

They were constantly talked about on the news and everyone used them as their motivation. The fact that even normal people can become geniuses not only the Royals or people from influential families Gave the common folk hope.

Samuel didn't take Jennifer's departure too well. He might have low-key cried a bit the day she left. Even with all these things happening Samuel's mind was a mess. " why had the people from our club manifested such powerful Karna? Is this somehow connected to the contents we enjoy in the club" Samuel said to himself in his room.

Thoughts were constantly appearing in his head and he could barely sleep. " I need to figure this out. If my thoughts are right. We might need to get a few more members to the club. Preferably those that will participate in the awakening ceremony next year" he said to himself as he went to sleep. The thought that he might have figured out a secret about the truth behind the Karna was exciting.
