Scarlett's POV
Why is she still awake? Why was the call ID showing a different location? What's going on?
Panic arose in me like an explosion. I answered the call, and my heart broke to pieces when I heard Aria sobbing.
"Aria? Baby, where are you?" I asked first thing. She was still sobbing. Tears stung the back of my eyes. My tone was mixed with fear, sapping from concern for where my daughter was. And confusion.
"Aria...answer me, baby." I clutched the hem of my underwear and asked.
"Dada took me home. He told you left me. I don't believe him."
Aria was using big words, which is unusual for her unless she's in distress and trying to communicate. She's six years old!
"What...?" Confusion grew wider for me. Why was she with Raphael? Didn't I instruct my parents to keep her safe without Raphael's gaze lingering on her?
"Aria, where is granny and grandpa?" I asked next.
