CHAPTER 32: Outshined

  Dylan's POV

  Anyone could tell I was just an intermediate skier. Compared to me, Ryder was an amazing sportsman. I swear he could play any sport with grace, just like how I could sing and even dance any tune with grace and royalty.

  I was feeling pretty good about myself. The day was all about spending time in the snow and playing like little kids. I gave it a thought - did Scarlett book this resort for us so we could all regress back into childhood? Maybe she wanted us to have unconditional fun where mistakes, no matter how big or small, were acceptable in this 'playground'.

  "I wish I could ski with Scarlett~" I fantasized. Ryder split from me after the first slope. It was fun, and Ryder was going at an unimaginable speed. I could compete with him, but I didn't want to get over myself and exhaust myself before attending practice today.

  "Phew, ha..." I removed my goggles at a secluded site. I didn't want many people to recognize me.
