CHAPTER 37 Making Things Happen

  James' POV

I left the bar as quickly as I got in, I would have stayed a little longer but I noticed that security creeping in and I didn't want any misunderstandings.

I got into my car and the fact that the case is proceeding beyond the preliminary hearing bothers me.

I was angry and frustrated, leading me to hit the horn repeatedly, making a loud honking noise.

At this point, my options are running low and I must think strategically.

I inevitably calmed down and drove off, and in no time I arrived at the hotel where my dad and our lawyer were. I met them there arguing about something.

"What the fuck happened?" I yelled as soon as I arrived expressing my frustration with the results.

I dragged my sit to have a place on the table.

"This is unacceptable, how could you let this happen? I thought you would end this there and then," I questioned him.
