"I am sorry to disappoint you, Mrs. Wilson," I said, " James will be asking me to marry him soon and I plan on saying yes to his proposal and neither you nor anyone else can sabotage our happiness,"
"You must think you have a chance at happiness with my son," Mrs. Wilson sneered, "If you came here to see James, then where is he?"
My heartbeat increased as I stood there utterly confused while trying to grasp, "He wasn't aware I would be here, I came here to pay him a surprise visit so it's understandable if he is not here," I replied quickly.
"How stupid of you to think in that shallow way of yours Ellie, my son will never take you as a wife and that is why I believe he is out to pursue someone worth his time," Mrs. Wilson replied in a quick sharp tone.
"What do you mean by that Mrs. Wilson, what is going on, and where is James?" I asked angrily.
"I'm sorry, Ellie," she uttered in a voice filled with no remorse. "But James is getting engaged... to someone else."

　　I got back home and Aria wasn't home, I would have loved it if she had been home at that moment.


　　I felt so excited that I thought I would explode from all the excitement that had filled me all day.


　　I went to my room and dropped my bag on top of my drawer before proceeding to take my clothes off.


　　I needed to have a cold shower after all that. I went inside the bathroom and put the shower on.


　　The water ran over my hair down my body and it gave me this soothing sensation It couldn't be any better.


　　The thought of Ryan holding my hands popped up in my head and couldn't help but smile. "You are falling for him Ellie," I thought to myself.


　　Immediately I shook my head, wanting to distract myself from thinking about Ryan. I couldn't afford to feel that way at the moment.


　　I put off the shower, reached out to my robe, and put it on before leaving the bathroom. I walked down to my closet and brought out the hair dryer and proceeded to dry my hair.
