CHAPTER 91 A Warning

  Mrs Anderson's POV

After I visited the hospital, I came back home feeling heartbroken after seeing James's condition.

Although the doctor said he could regain consciousness in a few days, it didn't take away all the pain that I felt in my heart.

I have always kept mute and allowed my husband to interfere with our son's life, thinking that he was doing what was best for him even times when it made him unhappy.

All these years, I wasn't able to take James's side and stand up for him as his mother, but that was going to end today as I will finally get to be his mother for once.

I stood up from my seat and walked to the study only to see my husband sitting there busy with his phone.

"Where have you been? I learned that you had gone somewhere," he asked as I walked in.

"How can you be so cold and heartless?" I said, lashing out at James's father.

"Excuse me! And what is that supposed to mean?" James's father said, dropping his phone on the table.
