CHAPTER 76 Survival

  Nathan's POV

The pain was unbearable, it kept on pulling me down as I tried to stand up.

Aiden was with me, using all his strength to push me up and get me back to my feet. My teeth clenched as I growled in pains.

Every part of me hurt—my chest was filled with scars, my clothes torn and bloodied. I couldn't even tell how bad the rest of my body was.

I forced myself to pull up, one shaky movement at a time Aiden also helped me. But as I finally tried to stand up, I noticed something.

I felt a very sharp pain inside my leg and it went all the way to my head. In fact, the pain went all the way to my brain.

I didn't notice the injury in time because I wasn't feeling any part of my body before.

It was blinding, so intense it felt like it pierced my brain. I let out a cry before I could stop myself, quickly biting it back. I couldn't afford to draw attention.

  Not now.
