CHAPTER 64 Seeds of Vengeance

  Amelia's POV

I stormed through the reckety doors, my hands shaking with rage, my breath coming in sharp, uneven gasps. What was left of the heavy oak doors slammed behind me with a resounding thud, rattling the broken chandeliers overhead.

"Amelia." My father's voice was firm, but there was an undercurrent of unease. I turned to him sharply, my vision red, my fists clenched so tightly my nails dug into my palms. "You need to calm down."

"Calm down?" I seethed, my voice dripping with venom. "She humiliated me. In front of everyone. And Julian—" I choked on the name, my chest tightening. "He threatened to replace me. With her."

The word her left a bitter taste in my mouth. Avery. My weak sister. The pathetic little rat who had slithered her way into everything that was mine. The sister who had no place standing where she was standing now; who should have known her place.
