CHAPTER 33: Tiff

  Caleb's POV

Lily had built her brand on ostentation, catering to clients that valued flash over substance. Her designs were loud, garish even, often lacking the sophistication my brand was known for. It was no surprise that her company consistently lagged behind mine in reputation, sales, and pretty much everything else.

What surprised me was seeing her here, in my store, accompanied by Ethan Sterling, a man who exuded arrogance and pride.

Lily's lips curled into a tight smile. "Ah, Caleb. You're here again."

I ignored the jab, turning to Victoria instead. "Victoria, how are things going here?"

Victoria responded immediately, her voice steady. "Our customers here have been evaluating our ring collection. I've been assisting them with recommendations based on their preferences."

I nodded, catching the subtle undertone in her words—she was doing her job, and they were making it nearly impossible.
