　　Nervously, I watch as people file into the packhouse for the meeting that my father has called. These would be the werewolves that decide my mate's fate. A sigh of relief washes over me as I see many of the parents from the ballet class join the crowd that has gathered in the main hall. 　　"We are gathered here today to decide the fate of an outsider in our community," my father's voice rings loudly through the hall in the packhouse. "I am sure that most of you have met Katherine by now. She is a very sweet girl, who also happens to be my son's fated mate. During the most recent rogue attack, she became aware of our kind. She does not wish to become part of our pack. It is up to us to decide her fate." Murmurs fill the hall as the people of our pack talk amongst one another.
