CHAPTER 68 Chase

  KAT

Thunder rumbles in the distance, and I shiver at the thought of stripping down naked in the rain.

"I should get started on planning this ceremony," I mutter.

Luke takes the binder from my hands and lays it on the forest floor. I let out a little gasp. Luke's mother was adamant that I not ruin it, but Luke doesn't seem to be concerned.

He stands in front of me and strips off his pants. I advert my gaze from his naked body. Luke chuckles loudly and grabs me by the chin.

"Are you ever going to stop being shy?"

  "Never," I whisper jokingly.

Luke takes me by the hands and pulls me to my feet. He reaches for the hem of my shirt, but I shrink away from him.

"You don't want to ruin your clothes when you shift," Luke tells me.

I groan in frustration. "I don't see how letting my wolf run is going to make things better."

Luke closes the distance between us. "Trust me."
