'You care for her because she belongs to you,' my wolf replies.
'She is a human,' I remind him. 'She is stumbling over her words like an idiot. Nope. Absolutely not. I will not take this human as my mate. She is not worthy to be a Luna,'
'You are stubborn to change. Just like the rest of your pack,' my wolf replies.

　　I am standing in front of the guests at the Luna Ceremony. Kat told me to stall for twenty minutes, and it has been almost an hour. I am starting to worry that she has gotten cold feet.  


　　'She is already marked and mated,' Atom groans in my head. He is annoyed with my constant worrying. He knows that Katherine would never leave us again.  


　　The sun is beginning to set, and I don't think we will have much sunlight left for the ceremony. I sigh heavily when the music begins to play through the speakers. It is different music than I know Kat had picked out. My head twists to look at the DJ, and I see that Marie has pushed him out of the way and is controlling the sound system.  


　　He makes eye contact with me and shrugs his shoulders. I can feel anxiety rising in my chest. I know Kat will be disappointed if everything does not go as planned.
