　　I can feel Luke's disappointment traveling through the mate bond. This will be the second time my Luna Ceremony has been postponed due to Hector and Abigale. I can't let him down again. He tells me I am part of the pack, but I know he doesn't truly believe it until the Luna Ceremony takes place. It is happening today, no matter what.


　　I kick off my shoes and scoop Abi into my arms. I just pray that she doesn't get me too dirty. As I race down the hall with her, I see Hector coming toward us.


　　"What are you doing?" He asks as I race past him.


　　"Go collect some flowers," I tell him as I race past him.


　　"I think I need to speak to Abigale," he calls after my retreating body.


　　"That can happen after my Luna Ceremony," I yell back. "Flowers, now."


　　With Abi on my hip, I run past Luke and Marie. I give them both a quick wave before I rush up the stairs. I am halfway up the stairs when I realize I haven't told Luke the plan.
