　　As I am rushing around the pack house to find Luna Sarah, I bump into my parents, Arthur and Esther Winston, the former beloved Beta couple. My parents are amazing. They have been supportive of me, even when they disagreed about me dating Hailey.


　　"What are you guys doing back already? I thought you would be back next week." I step in to hug my mother. My father gives me a firm handshake before pulling me into embrace. 


　　"Your mother wanted to be here for the Mate Ball." My father says pointedly, looking at my mother.


　　"Don't give me that look," my mother says. "All I said was, if my son meets his mate tonight, I would like to be there." Mom says, as she wraps her arms around my father's waist.
