　　After the memorial, Alex and I make our way to the front of the clearing. Sarah has retired to her room, but promises to come down to the ceremony tonight. Alex has stepped to the side to speak to a familiar-looking alpha.


　　I continue to bid our guests farewell, and my Dad and siblings approach me. I am elated to see my siblings. When I went home to pack, they were on a trip upstate with their friends. Giana and Gabriel both rush to embrace me.


　　I hold them both in silence for a moment, realizing that I will not see these faces everyday anymore.


　　When we pull back, Giana is the first to break the silence. "You met your mate!" She exclaims. "I can't believe you are marked and about to be co-alpha of the number one pack." Giana gushes.
