CHAPTER 199

  Olivia's POV

The past few weeks flew by in a blur of filming, stolen moments with Christopher, and guilty texts to Logan. I barely had time to breathe between fourteen-hour days on set and Christopher's "private coaching sessions" (which involved significantly less acting and more moaning).

"Sorry, can't make dinner tonight," I texted Logan for the third time this week. "Late shoot."

His response came quickly: "No worries, got a big project anyway. Kill it on set!"

I frowned at my phone. Was he really that understanding, or just as wrapped up in his own world as I was in mine? The old Logan would've at least pretended to be disappointed.

I scrolled through my messages later that night, sprawled across my couch. Logan had sent a picture of his takeout dinner with the caption "Living the bachelor life!" followed by laughing emojis.
