"I'm your father! Who gave you permission to get married without my consent?"
Colin roared, nearly dragging Natalie out of the chair as he yanked her up.
Natalie forcefully shook off her father's grip, took two steps back, and looked at him with a cold sneer from a distance, clearly drawing a line between them.
"What? If I choose someone you don't like, would you still not like them? What if I find someone else?"
Colin pointed a finger at Luke, his voice harsh, "You want a boyfriend? I won't stop you. But look at the kind of people you're choosing! Natalie, you're embarrassing me."
"What kind of people?" Luke let out a light laugh, hands in his pockets, and casually looked at Colin as he responded.
"What do you think I am, father-in-law?"
"I am not your father-in-law!" Colin snapped angrily, cutting Luke off. "I'm telling you right now, if you want to marry my daughter, I won't agree. Don't even bother dreaming about it."
