Aria's POV
"Uhh…maybe I should come later," Shawn said slowly, stepping back, "You look like you're not in a very good mood."
I released a sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Don't worry, I thought you were Cornelius."
Shawn furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Cornelius? What would he be doing here?" he asked, glancing around.
"He suddenly had a change of mind, and decided that we both needed to work together for the betterment of the pack." I drawled with heavy sarcasm dripping from my voice as I stepped aside for him to enter.
Shawn winced slightly, as he stepped inside with a nod of thanks. "You're really not in a good mood. What did you tell him?"
"I called him out on his bullshit, and obviously, he didn't like it. So he kept pounding on my door to tell me that I was going to regret it, blah, blah, blah," I replied, rolling my eyes.
A small smile crossed Shawn's lips, "I would have loved to see his face when you did that."
