CHAPTER 91

  Aria's POV

My fists were clenched tightly as I stormed down the hall. As I walked through the hallway, I could hear the whispers around me die down the moment the pack members around me sensed my foul mood.

They stepped aside, immediately hurrying off after greeting.

  Good.

I was two steps from my door when a voice called after me.

  "Aria, we need to talk!"

  I stiffened.

  Cornelius.

His voice grated on my nerves. Wrong place. Wrong time. Wrong damn person.

I kept walking, my jaw clenching tighter. Not today.

"Aria!" he snapped, increasing his voice this time.

I stopped for just a second. Then, with a scoff, I kept moving.

Luckily, I reached my room, and I opened the door, and stepped in. Ready to slam it shut and shut him out.

But before I could, he held the door, stopping it just before it could close.

"Luna!" Cornelius barked, his eyes burning with annoyance.
