Aria's POV
"What?"
Knox frowned slightly. "Jade? Who is she?"
I blinked, still in shock. "Where did you hear that name?"
His frown deepened slightly. "When you were screaming and writhing in pain, you were muttering her name," he replied.
I racked my brain as I tried to remember what would have made me call her name, but I came up blank. The only thing I could remember was that darkness, and the feeling that something was wrong, but nothing else. I would ask Jade later what was going on.
Knox must have been getting suspicious because of my reaction, and lack of response, because his gaze sharpened. "Aria? What's going on? You're acting weird," he commented.
I still didn't respond, as my mind raced. How was I going to tell him about a voice in my head? How was I going to tell him other things concerning the voice?
'Don't even dare it.' Jade hissed, and I almost flinched at the harshness of her voice.
I couldn't reply to her, because of Knox.
