Aria's POV
My furrow deepened as I got even more confused. "What?" I asked. I didn't remember any of that happening.
"You were crying and writhing on the bed, like you were in a lot of pain. I tried waking you up, but you wouldn't wake up no matter how I called or shook you. It was so scary. I called Felicia, she's on her way."
I stared at Knox, my heart pounding in my chest. "But, I… I don't remember any of that."
Knox pulled back slightly to look at me. His eyebrows were furrowed in concern. "What do you mean?"
I shook my head, still trying to process what he was saying. "I remember falling asleep. I remember feeling exhausted, but nothing else. I didn't feel any pain. At least… I don't think I did."
Knox's grip on me tightened. "Aria, you were crying. You kept saying it hurt everywhere—your chest, your head, your whole body. I tried everything to wake you up, but you wouldn't respond."
I opened my mouth, but I didn't know what to say.
