CHAPTER 95

  Aria's POV

Everywhere was dark, but not in a scary way. The darkness felt familiar, like an old friend. I glanced around trying to find any form of light, but there was none.

I could feel eyes on me from the darkness, but I didn't feel threatened.

"Hello?" I called into the darkness. But there was no response.

"I know that you're here. I can feel your presence." I said to whatever was watching me in the darkness.

Someone cleared their throat from behind me, and I turned slowly in that direction. However, I couldn't see anything. If only this place was brighter. I thought to myself.

Immediately that thought crossed my mind, the darkness disappeared, and everywhere brightened. I instinctively squinted my eyes, but there was no need. The brightness did not affect me.

I was in a large white room. Everything was white, the walls were white, the floor was white, and the ceiling was white.
