CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR LOVE HER?

  DAVIS

"Are you going to be like this all night? You got married today, you need to go home and be with your wife." Ollie started as he stood behind me while I turned over, scoffing as I ran my eyes over him.

"Don't you dare call her my wife because she isn't?"

"You don't know how hurt she was when she saw me kiss her?"

"Hurt?" What sort of bullshit is that? And then she kissed another man right in front of me! Her husband! What sort of woman pulls a prank like that in front of her man?

"I don't think she was hurt, because if she was..."

"Davis," he interrupted with a strange tone in his voice, "What do you want?"

"What?" What is wrong with him? Why does he sound like that? My eyes settled on his face, oh, I hit him earlier, didn't I?

"I'm sorry I flipped out earlier, you know I wouldn't have hit you if I wasn't angry," I said as I lifted my glass before I heard his loud scoff.

"You've always been like this. You're sorry? Always sorry."
