CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN THE GUN

  DAHILA

"Ugh!" That was the sound I heard from Natalie without looking, my eyes were closed, my hands on my ears and I felt my heart tightening against my chest, I closed my ears just like I always do when things get to this point.

But I prayed silently, since the gun didn't shoot me, let it not be Davis or Nat, I could still feel his presence around me, his hands gripping my waist but his steady breathes made my heart thump faster. I prayed silently to God.

Save me. Save my Davis, Natalie too. Let it not be what I'm thinking. I will tear Zee Lord piece by piece if any single hair on Davis' head is hurt. I will be a murderer from this day.

I felt Davis hugging me and that's when I opened my eyes, his teary eyes looking into mine.

I looked around the room, and saw that Johan had tackled Zee Lord to the ground. The gun had gone off, but it had only hit the glass wall and shattered it to the floor. I felt my body shaking with relief.
