CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN IN ONE PLACE

  DAHILA

Davis is taking long to come back, I could see his tall figure as he stood by the door which was ajar, but he wasn't speaking or maybe I can't hear him since he's a little bit far away from me.

"Davis," I called his name but no answer, "Davis," I repeated but he wasn't answering so I had to go over to where he is. Almost reaching him, I heard his voice.

"Don't come close." He said urgently and my legs froze immediately, especially when my eyes met Zee Lord's, she was pointing a gun to Davis head.

My insides melted immediately. "Davis," I said again, "What are you doing here?"

"Everything is fine. Don't panic, okay?" Davis assured me but this isn't what I wanted to hear.

Everything is not okay with Zee Lord here. Everything is not okay if that gun really triggers and sends a bullet into Davis body.

I didn't know what to do, I couldn't move. Zee Lord's eyes were cold, devoid of any emotion.
