4. The Dark Wizard

The blonde-haired system covered her mouth as she giggled shyly.

It was clear that she enjoyed the sight of Jin looking very befuddled from the information that his brain was finding a little too hard to process.

Jin understood up to the point of him being reincarnated.

But to be reincarnated into the same game that had led to his death back on Earth?

That much, he couldn't wrap his head around.

"What!" he exclaimed, his throat nearly drying up as he shouted.

"Jin Weiss? As in the Jin Weiss?" he continuously fired the system with questions upon questions.

…Questions that had an obvious answer.

"Like Jin Weiss? The Dark Wizard and final boss of the game?!"

As the beautiful woman in front of him chose to laugh instead of responding and addressing his confusion, Jin stopped his ranting and took in a few deep breaths.

"Calm down, Jin. Calm… down," he told himself.

After a short while, he opened his eyes with a smile on his face.

He glanced to his side to catch a glimpse of his hair, only to discover that he had long white hair that was similar to that of the Dark Wizard's.

Jin lifted his eyes to the sky and cried an ocean of crocodile tears.

"Out of all the characters possible, I get reborn as the villain of a game."

"It's not as bad as you make it seem, husband."

Jin's eyes twitched again at the sound of 'husband'.

It was almost like an automatic response to the word at this point.

"I'm sure everybody will be out to get my head!" he bawled angrily.

"And I don't even understand my situation yet!"

The system lifted a finger.

"Look on the bright side of this, you are even stronger than the original Jin Weiss who was already dead before you took over his body."

Jin's eyes fluttered several times.

"Huh? Stronger than the original Dark Wizard?"

He found that laughable because he knew how hard and long he had to fight the Dark Wizard when he played the game back on Earth.

The system nodded her head, maintaining her take on the topic.

"Well, that's because of the gift that I gave you."

Her lips curled up into an ominous smile as her eyes narrowed with a sinister stare like an evil overlord who had hatched a plan of world domination.

"...The gift of infinite mana! Muahahaha!"

As she laughed her evil laugh, Jin crept up to her side with a deadpan expression.

"That's so creepy. You are just weird, system."

The system's eyes sparkled.

For the first time, Jin had addressed her by a name that was not aimed at insulting her or shouting recklessly.

Her face blushed tomato red and she jumped on top of him and stared, with her sea-blue eyes, into his very soul.

Twinkle~ Twinkle~

She moved furiously over Jin's body, smooching him with her breasts and the rest of her bodily assets.

"You know, darling or wife sounds much better than calling me system," she suggested in a soft tone of voice.

Jin cringed, crawls climbing up and down his body as he struggled to break free.

'She is really weird. Did she hit her head or something?'

The system's hand travelled far and wide on Jin's body, caressing him as much as she pleased.

However, the young man's mind was focused on another thing.

…Infinite mana.

What were the chances that he really had such a gift?

…No, a cheat.

Such a thing was a super-mega-magnificent golden finger for a reincarnator like himself!

'Was that the honeymoon token that I saw earlier?'

A creepy smile appeared on his face, his profound greed displayed bare for all to see as he thought of all the possibilities of what he could achieve with infinite mana.

'Keke! Then I am truly stronger than Jin Weiss at this point!' he thought with a great sense of pride. 'This should be the period he suffered his first death at the hand of you-know-who.'

Jin rubbed his chin.

'But wait…'

Then he cast his eyes on the system, the two of them staring at each other.

The system stared at him ever so lustfully, almost shredding his clothes and leaving him naked with just her eyes, while Jin looked at her with a curious look.

"Why me?" Jin asked the blonde-haired system.

"Why did you choose me?"

It was neither wrong nor far-fetched for Jin to ask such a question.

She smiled and placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Well, I will give you that answer once we settle with the intruders in your father's mansion?"

"Intruders…?"

"You will get used to your power, lovely husband. Sooner than later, I believe."

The system's material body started to lift off the ground as she began to float around Jin.

"One more thing…" she said, causing Jin's eyes to perk up.

The system raised a finger.

"If you want to appraise yourself or monitor your progress in this world, just say the word, 'Status'. Do you get that?"

Jin nodded.

Meanwhile, at the entrance area of the Weiss Mansion.

"Jin…!" Lady Margaret shouted, her palms clutching her mouth as her breath ceased in an instant.

She watched where the explosion happened and it had come from where Jin's funeral pyre was erected.

'My son,' Lord Arthur thought.

The Lord of the Weiss Family could not reveal his truest emotions, especially not in front of men like Buma Elariz.

"Oh? What the hell was that?" Buma asked, having already conjured a defensive shield of mana to protect him and his men.

Buma pointed his accusing fingers at the Weiss couple, confident that they were plotting something now.

"I knew you too were up to no good today!" he blasted them. "Out with it and we might spare your lives! What is going on here?!"

The Lord and Lady of the Weiss Clan looked at each other.

Neither of them could give Buma Elariz the answer he wanted to hear.

They couldn't also turn their backs to Buma to go and check out what happened, otherwise, the worst might occur.

Their faces were solemn and Arthur wrapped his wife in his bosom even more closely.

"Huh?" Buma sneered with a disgusted countenance.

"Cat got your tongues, Weiss!"

Buma stamped a foot hard on the ground. "Answer me this min—"

The representative of the Elariz Family huffed and puffed because he had the numbers advantage as well as the backing of an influential family of the realm when compared to Clan Weiss.

Although Clan Weiss was also known in the Eternal Realm, they were not as powerful as other top clans since their popularity only began a few years back when the hidden practices of their Lord's heir, Jin Weiss, were discovered.

Jin singlehandedly brought fame and some level of respect to the clan.

Otherwise, they were just like any other lower clans in the realm.

The same Jin was about to save them from the lackeys of Clan Elariz.

"Stop it!" a voice commanded, shutting Buma up as he spoke.

Everybody looked in that direction, only to see the supposedly deceased Jin Weiss standing atop one of the roofs with his hands to his waist in akimbo.

"I advise that you leave this minute or risk getting your asses whopped."

A few of Buma's men instinctively swallowed mouthfuls of air and took a few steps backwards.

Jin's parents could not compose themselves as they too noticed that they moved back towards Buma just to get away from this new entrant.

"G-Gh-Ghost!" one of Buma's men shouted.

Buma clenched his teeth and pointed at Jin Weiss with his finger slightly trembling from gradually rising fear.

"Da-Dark Wizard… Jin Weiss! I will kill you now!" he declared.

Despite his facade of boldness and empty show of courage, a bead of sweat streamed from the side of Buma's face.
