They trailed past several contrasting stores, before terminating there escapade. They wandered into a dimly lit store that crowded itself with vibrant, ethereal-like splatters of colours.
Book store? Was the question that wavered inside Suzuki's mind.
I figured he was going to pick up some food... But yet again why would we go into town for that?

Each book more vibrant than the other, until they ventured deep enough into the historical section. Marking his target, Kev shot a sharp left, towards a section lit up with a pale-white sign lingering above several different coloured books.
'manga section'

Suzuki tugged on Kev's blazer, forcing him to twist his head around to face her.
"I-I thought you were just going to pick up some grocery's" Whispered Suzuki, balancing on her tippy toes.
"Well... I do need some, but I figured it would be nice to do something else for a change, y'know? What? You got somewhere to be?" Pondered Kev.
"N-no~ Not really."
--
So it is a sort of shopping trip activity? But why would he want to drag me along? Does he value me as some sort of friend? Suzuki paused for a moment. She had a vivid evocation of the past week. -
I suppose... We have gotten closer since I met him. Does he really view me as a friend and not some joke? No... I'm not that clueless. I suppose... He truly views me as a regular person? Surely he has other friends though. He is very outgoing... And helps me forget my problems. He's also very kind and open-minded. He's also kinda cut- W-what am I saying? I'm overthinking this. I should just have fun, after all that's what he's offering me.

"Hey look! They have DoonDaDoon! And The Promised Foreverland! Even Retired Weeks!" Splurted out Kev, overwhelmed with an industrious mindset for manga.
He jolted his face sideways towards Suzuki, Who seemed to be peering at a small manga, printed with splats of a 'bubbly' pink.
"A romance manga?" Asked Kev.
Suzuki thrusted back, not expecting Kev to notice her inspecting the one manga that stood out to her.
He pinched the manga out of her hands, and flicked by most of the pages. He stumped his thumb on a random page and decided to read it. It was an outing. They seemed to have been shopping, the girl more eager to purchase several more merchandise than the man.
An entire chapter about two people shopping? Boring. Kev thought before crouching down and slotting it back in within the rest.
Suzuki could notice Kev's reluctant feelings on the manga, yet, in a stroke of confidence decided to fling it out from within the neatly organised spines that poked out of the bookshelf in a colourful pattern.
After Kev had plotted his first purchase; a delicious looking manga, Suzuki plopped the same romance manga from before onto the till: 'An Autumn Forever'.
Wait... I figured she was simply just browsing? She bought it? Doesn't strike me as the type who would like that kind of stuff. Gahhh! I feel so bad for tossing it aside so quickly. Perhaps I could ask to borrow it someday. Figured Kev.
T-this isn't like me... Buying some useless manga... I'm not even too interested in that sort of thing... So why did I buy it? Suzuki thought, before peering back down towards the volume's front cover, that housed the main couple, one taller and seemed to have a subtle glittering of selflessness in his green eyes, and the other bared a crimson-red hair, that lushed underneath the wind, and several graveyards of shopping bags. Behind them; trails of crisp autumn leaves.

She glanced back at Kev, who was pondering out at the window, patiently waiting for her to wrap up.
Perhaps... They could be like me and Kev?
