Wrong Person

The forest was alive with the sounds of night. Crickets chirped in rhythmic pulses, leaves rustled under the cool breeze, and the distant howl of spirit beasts echoed through the trees. Beneath the pale glow of the moon, a lone figure sat cross-legged on a flat boulder, his breath slow and measured. Beads of sweat dripped down his chiseled frame, muscles tensing with every inhale, veins faintly pulsing with an unnatural rhythm.

Huo Ye opened his eyes. Crimson irises flickered with frustration. Twenty years… Twenty years of effort, and he was still at Rank 31. It wasn't even the rank that bothered him — it was the scorn. The ridicule.

A former prodigy? No. He had never been one. Not even for a day. He was a mutated martial soul user, the owner of a Body Martial Soul so useless that even the Body Sect cast him out two years ago. The shame still lingered, but it no longer crushed him. He had grown numb to it.

They called it Mental Blood, a martial soul that manifested through the user's bloodstream and mental will. But in reality, it was nothing but a burden. Its initial ability required blood to fuel even the simplest of techniques — blood he couldn't afford to waste. It offered no strength, no defense, no speed. Only the ability to transfer mental power through blood at the cost of his own vitality. In a sect where physical might was king, he was a disgrace.

But none of that mattered now. Huo Ye had accepted his exile. Alone in the forests near the Body Sect's base, he resolved to continue cultivating. Even if it was useless… what else could he do?

He let out a sigh. The night air cooled his skin, calming his restless heart. As he began to steady his breathing, something inside him pulsed.

> *Ding!]

> _"System Integration… 100% Complete."_

Huo Ye flinched. His heart skipped a beat.

> "Anime Power System online."

> "Analyzing Host… Error. Host does not match intended target."

His breath hitched. "System?"

> "The Host is incompatible. Releasing Novice Pack before deactivation."

Panic clawed at his chest. "Wait! What do you mean deactivation?"

> "System has integrated into the wrong host. It will now self-terminate. Novice Pack granted to compensate for the error. Good luck."

Before Huo Ye could utter another word, the mechanical voice faded. A weightless silence fell over him. Confusion clouded his thoughts — had he really just been abandoned by a system?

But before frustration could take hold, a golden light pulsed in front of him. A massive screen unfurled in midair, shimmering with untold power.

> [Novice Pack]

> - Select Any Anime Power to Turn into Your Martial Soul

> - Breathing Cultivation Technique

> - Three Random Martial Souls

Huo Ye's heart pounded as he stared at the gifts.

Any anime power?

He blinked. Reincarnating into Soul Land 2 was one thing, but this… this was different. He was a fan of Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece — anime he had adored in his past life. And now, he could turn one of their powers into his martial soul?

A second martial soul. A real martial soul.

He didn't even hesitate. The answer had always been clear.

I choose the Primal Great Ape."

The moment the words left his mouth, a sudden heat exploded in his chest. Huo Ye doubled over, gasping as his bones cracked, muscles tensed, and veins bulged violently under his skin. His height stretched — once 5'8, now towering at 6'5.

A deafening roar ripped from his throat.

> Primal Great Ape — Initial Abilities Unlocked:

>Passive State:

Full Moon State (Full Great Ape): Automatic Passive State

Rage state uncontrollable state

The power surging through him was raw and primal. His heartbeat pounded in his ears, each pulse stronger than the last. With each breath, his lungs expanded, soaking in the night air. His veins pulsed in sync with his heartbeat — red, throbbing lines glowing faintly against his skin. The urge to fight… to destroy… it was overwhelming.

But there was more. Another orb floated before him.

"Haki of Three Wills… a breathing cultivation technique?"

Curiosity overrode the pain. He grasped the second orb. The moment he did, his breath deepened — controlled yet powerful. His mind cleared, his heartbeat stabilized, and the chaotic rage threatening to overwhelm him began to subside.

> Haki of Three Wills — Initial Effects:

> - Observation Haki: Perception and awareness expanded.

> - Armament Haki: Physical durability and strength reinforced.

> - Conqueror's Haki: Overwhelming presence to suppress weaker beings.

> - Breathing Enhancement: Speeds cultivation and stabilizes mental state.

The final reward glimmered softly — three random martial souls. He didn't need them, but they weren't for him. Huo Ye smirked.

> Random Martial Souls — Awarded:

> - Igneel Dragon-Type Martial Soul (Fairy Tail)

> - Sharingan Martial Soul (Naruto)

> - Thousand-Armed Bhuda Martial Soul (Hunter x Hunter)

His eyes flickered with interest. The Sharingan, one of the most iconic abilities in all of anime…

He remembered Huo Yuhao. The protagonist of Soul Land 2. A Spirit Eye user who struggled through countless hardships. What if… what if he gave him the Sharingan?

Huo Ye's grin widened. With a gift like that, he could change the future — guide Yuhao down a different path. Away from the Tang Sect.

For the first time in years, excitement surged through his veins.

As the moon hung high above, he stood tall — power thrumming in his chest. He had been nothing but an outcast. A mistake.

But now…

The world would remember his name.
