Two days after the meeting at Richie Corporation, Peter sat in his office, reviewing the reports from the first meeting. Despite the progress they had made, the challenges with the autonomous cars still weighed heavily on his mind. The integration into city traffic was proving to be a complex issue, and while the drones had shown great success, the autonomous cars required more attention.
As Peter read through the data, his tablet beeped. A message from Stella appeared on the screen:
'Sir Peter, don't forget, you have a follow-up meeting with Richie Corporation tomorrow at noon. Please ensure you're prepared to discuss further improvements and solutions.'
He nodded and was about to respond when another notification popped up. This one was from Chijioke.
'Peter, don't forget the follow-up meeting with Richie Corporation tomorrow. Ensure the latest data on the autonomous cars and drones is ready for review.'
Peter leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. He'd been expecting this. The collaboration between Richie Corporation and Mars Corporation had potential, but there was still a lot to address before things could be fully operational.
He pressed a button on his intercom. 'Magnus,' Peter called calmly, 'let's prepare for the next meeting at Richie Corporation tomorrow by noon. We need to dive deeper into the issues with the autonomous cars, especially the AI systems. We've made progress, but it's not enough yet. Let's gather all the latest data and get ready for another round of discussions.'
'Understood, boss,' Magnus replied, his tone focused. 'I'll have everything ready…And also remember that Aston Martin's team would be visiting your villa tomorrow…'
Peter paused, a thought crossing his mind. 'Oh, I forgot. Please contact Richie Corporation and tell them to reschedule the meeting for the evening after tomorrow. It won't be in tomorrow afternoon anymore. After Aston Martin's team leaves, we'll head straight to Richie Corporation.'
'Got it, boss,' Magnus said.
After the intercom call ended, Peter returned to his work. He went back to reviewing the latest data on the autonomous cars, studying every report carefully. He would need all the information for their next round of discussions with Richie Corporation. With Aston Martin's visit scheduled for the next day, it would be a tight timeline. But he was used to the pressure—though, as always, it didn't make the burden any lighter.
