Chapter Twenty-Nine

At Mark Villa the following evening, the soft, golden hue of the setting sun washed over the sprawling grounds, casting long shadows across the immaculately kept lawn. Peter reclined by the poolside, the heat of the day still lingering in the air, and took a slow sip of his freshly brewed achara tea. The smooth, earthy warmth of the drink settled in his chest as he flipped through the documents he'd brought home earlier, his eyes skimming over the pages but not truly absorbing the words. He had returned early today in preparation for Aston Martin's team, who would be inspecting the car at his villa.

Chijioke's voice, calm and precise, came through the speakers embedded in the villa.

'Sir Peter, a gentle reminder: Aston Martin's team will be arriving in one hour. The vehicle has been polished, and Ihunanya has completed its diagnostics report. Shall I prepare the meeting lounge for the technical team?'

Peter glanced at his watch and nodded. 'Yes, Chijioke. Ensure everything is ready.' He paused, then added, 'Coordinate with the chief butler for any additional requirements.'

'Understood, Sir. The lounge will be prepared, and I will notify the butler.'
