Gently touching the God Tree root, Yusuke felt a comforting life force flow into him.
"As expected of the God Tree's root. Its Yang Release is pure and gentle, unlike the violent Wood Release in Hashirama cells. This will solve the Mangekyō Sharingan problem!"
Yusuke pondered for a moment. Removing the entire "Ryūmyaku" was impossible; he only needed a small portion.
"Storage scrolls can't hold this much chakra. I'll have to cut a piece and carry it back!"
He unsheathed Ryūjin Jakka and slashed at the root. To his surprise, the incredibly sharp blade only left a shallow scratch.
The scratch vanished instantly. The root was incredibly tough and possessed exceptional regenerative abilities.
Concentrating his spiritual pressure on Ryūjin Jakka, Yusuke slashed four times, cleanly severing a meter-long, foot-wide piece of the root.
While ordinary strikes were ineffective, the spiritual pressure-enhanced Ryūjin Jakka could cut it.
Within seconds, the cut section regenerated.
"This piece is enough for Izumi and even a hundred more Uchiha with Mangekyō Sharingan."
Tying a rope around the root, Yusuke prepared to return.
Before leaving, he needed to reseal the overflowing chakra.
The root had been sealed, but Mukade broke the seal to use its power. The uncontrolled chakra threatened a catastrophic explosion.
In the cave, Sāra anxiously watched the churning brown chakra, knowing Yusuke had gone to find the dragon vein.
Suddenly, the brown chakra lake began to recede, as if being drained.
Within ten minutes, it disappeared, leaving a large red sealing array with burning flames. This was Yusuke's seal, resealing the God Tree root. No one could enter the lake without breaking the seal.
Sāra then noticed dozens of fire crows circling above the red seal, obscured by the flames.
The crows gathered, transforming into Yusuke.
Seeing the root on Yusuke's back, Sāra felt the dragon vein's power—pure and potent, far stronger than the chakra lake.
"This is the dragon vein?" Sāra whispered.
Yusuke smiled, "Yes and no. The true dragon vein is ten thousand times larger. This is just a tiny piece."
"What is the true dragon vein?" Sāra was curious.
Though their clan protected the dragon vein and could manipulate its power, they didn't know what it truly was.
Yusuke, having achieved his goal, explained his theory about the dragon vein being a God Tree root, sharing legends about the God Tree and Ten-Tails.
Sāra finally understood what her clan had been protecting.
"Thank you."
Sāra spoke sincerely. Without Yusuke, she couldn't have defeated Mukade. Her failure would have meant Rōran falling into Mukade's hands.
"I'm leaving. A parting gift!"
Yusuke knew from the original story that Sāra's life was short. When Naruto arrived at the ruins, Sāra was deceased, her daughter the queen. Sāra likely wouldn't live past forty.
He didn't know the cause, but illness was possible.
Yusuke cut a small, rhombus-shaped piece from the root.
Handing it to Sāra, he smiled, "A parting gift. Wear it; it's good for your health."
Sāra held the piece, cherishing it. She felt its life force.
Tears fell onto her palm.
"Are you really leaving?"
Though they'd only known each other a day, Yusuke had solved her biggest problem. This parting gift made her sad.
"All good things must end. I believe, after this, a more mature you will govern Rōran well," Yusuke smiled.
He wasn't one to linger. He controlled his Karasu clone in another time-space and activated the "Yang Flame" in his Sharingan.
Forming a hand seal, he used the "Flame Walk Technique," his body turning to flames as he returned to his time.
Sāra wiped her tears. She understood her mission.
Looking at the vanishing Yusuke, she shouted, "Uchiha Yusuke, thank you. I will be a great queen!"
Yusuke nodded, offering an encouraging smile, forever etched in Sāra's memory.
