When Yusuke, Anko, and Enri arrived at Yakumo Kurama's sanatorium, they found it attacked and in ruins.

In the courtyard, they saw two incapacitated Anbu and several medical staff. They appeared only slightly injured.

The attackers hadn't intended to kill them, only to incapacitate them.

"Cough, Chief Advisor-sama, we failed. The Kurama clan wanted to handle this themselves; we couldn't stop them,"

An Anbu, roused by Anko, saw Yusuke and spoke respectfully.

"What? Father did this? Did they take Yakumo?"

Enri panicked, worried about her cousin. Enri was the daughter of Unkai Kurama, the Kurama clan head.

"I don't know exactly what happened. Then Kurenai-senpai arrived and fought the Kurama clan. Suddenly, three genin appeared, and a brawl broke out," the Anbu said.

Yusuke frowned; only members of the Konoha 11 would be involved in this.

As expected, they learned the genin were Naruto, Sasuke, and Yota.

Yusuke, Anko, and Enri entered the building and found Unkai Kurama and other Kurama clan members injured in a hallway.

Before them was a distorted, shimmering portal, like a science fiction wormhole. Yusuke sensed it was a powerful genjutsu, with potent and unique Yin Release chakra that could affect reality.

"Father, why did you do this? Uncle and Aunt wouldn't approve!"

Unkai Kurama sighed, shaking his head, "You don't understand Yakumo's power."

Seeing Yusuke, Unkai Kurama explained everything.

Yakumo's power was unstable and unpredictable. She had recently become erratic.

Months ago, she used her genjutsu to kill her jōnin parents.

This was serious. Medical ninjas diagnosed her with amnesia and mental illness.

The Fourth Hokage decided to cover up the truth as a fire and restrict Yakumo's movements.

Unkai Kurama, the current Kurama clan head, decided that Yakumo was too dangerous and planned to eliminate her to prevent further incidents.

He said to Yusuke respectfully, "Advisor-sama, we wish to handle this ourselves."

"The Kurama clan is part of the village. I'll decide how to handle this,"

Looking at the distorted portal, Yusuke approached it.

"The ninja world has such interesting powers—making genjutsu real."

Unkai Kurama urged, "Advisor-sama, it's dangerous! Don't go in!"

Yusuke waved him off. "Wait outside. I'll go in."

In a genjutsu landscape created by Yakumo's inner demons, Kurenai, Enri, Naruto, Sasuke, and Yota were present.

The surroundings were blood-red, pulsating walls, like animal organs—disgusting.

Yakumo held a sketchbook, depicting her former teacher, Kurenai. Only Kurenai's upper body was visible; her lower body had vanished.

Yakumo was questioning Kurenai about her parents' deaths, believing it was a village conspiracy.

"Kurenai-sensei, if you don't tell the truth, I'll erase you. If I erase you from this painting, you'll disappear."

Yakumo's eyes were bloodshot. Though conscious, her mind was controlled by her inner demons.

"It was an accident. If erasing me helps, go ahead,"

Kurenai showed no fear, filled with guilt. She felt responsible for not teaching Yakumo to control her powers.

"Stop! Don't hurt Kurenai-sensei!"

Naruto, Sasuke, and Yota charged forward to stop Yakumo.

Yakumo waved her brush; giant tentacles emerged from the walls, restraining them.

Yakumo struggled against her inner demons. Her demons urged her to erase Kurenai from the painting, but her heart resisted.

The demons prevailed. Yakumo's eyes lost focus; her brush moved towards Kurenai.

At the last moment, a hand grabbed Yakumo's wrist, stopping her.

Seeing Yusuke, everyone exclaimed, their faces filled with relief. Hope was renewed.
