Cards, inheritances, suits...

Hello everyone! This chapter serves as a guide to the system of the work. All the concepts in this chapter will be introduced gradually in the story, but if you have any questions, you can refer to this chapter as a reference.

★ Card Types

Ace Card: Can represent either a card numbered 1 or a card numbered 14 (above J (Jack), Q (Queen), and K (King)).

When numbered 1, it can range from a small blessing to an exclusive card.

Cards 2 to 10: These cards vary in rarity and represent artifacts, weapons, abilities or passive.

Jack (J) Card: Exclusive or hereditary cards that represent past forces—such as historical figures—and can range in rarity from [Epic] to [Legendary].

Queen (Q) Card: Exclusive cards that generally represent a feminine force, whether historical or mythological, and can range from [Legendary] to [Mythic].

King (K) Card: An exclusive card of virtues. It represents the pinnacle of basic cards, embodying the wills of Archangels or divine figures—such as higher angels or mythological gods—and can range from [Legendary] to [Secret].

Joker Card: The Joker is a card beyond all others, even surpassing the Ace when numbered 14. It is only in the hands of the Sephiroth.

Hereditary Cards: Sephiras can monopolize a specific card (such as the Kairen family, which has complete control over all cards related to the god Susano'o). Each card has its own variation, which is distributed to descendants.

The rarer the card, the greater the prestige and importance of a given family in the world.

Exclusive Cards: These can be related to hereditary cards, but not necessarily. Their status and abilities depend entirely on the Sephira in question.

★Card Ranks:

Rank F: Common Cards.

Rank E: Uncommon Cards.

Rank D: Rare Cards.

Rank C: Epic Cards.

Rank B: Legendary Cards.

Rank A: Mythic Cards.

Rank S: Secret Cards.

★ Suits

Spades: A suit designated for specialization in agile combat—elemental or effective damage.

Hearts: A suit designated for specialization in sacred and healing magic—sacred damage.

Diamonds: A suit designated for specialization in arcane magic and combat with magic—magical or spiritual damage.

Clubs: A suit designated for specialization in physical combat—physical damage.

★ Inheritance, Desecration and Burdens (Sephiras)

Inheritance System:

For the Sephiras, this is represented by the Red Systems, designated by their first contact with the Archangels.

Desecration System:

For the Sephiras, these are the Black Systems, signifying the corruption of the Sephira system. This occurs when a human makes a pact with demons, thereby corrupting their own system and aligning themselves with the sins of the world.

Burden System:

Depending on the situation, a bearer of this system may be considered an enemy of the Archangels—thus cursed by them—or cursed by the Kings. The fated ones bear a colorless system, which can be tinted by the predominant color of their aura.

★ Inheritance, Desecration and Burdens (for Daemons)

Inheritance System (For Daemons):

For Daemons, Black Systems represent their affinity and direct loyalty to the Kings, particularly the King of the domain where the Daemon was born.

Each Daemon System carries the rune of one of the Seven Kings, symbolizing their sovereignty over that lost soul.

Desecration System:

For Daemons, Red Systems do not signify an alliance with humans. Instead, they indicate that the Daemon has survived the transition between domains and now serves a King beyond their original domain.

Instead of a single rune, these Daemons bear two runes, signifying greater servitude to their ruling Kings and, therefore, greater power.

Burden System:

For Daemons, the White System represents independence from any King. These Daemons are strong by their own nature and act on their own will, without necessarily drawing their strength from one of the Seven Kings.
