Chapter 12 - Thegarroth's Might

Chapter 12 - Thegarroth's Might

Vhelgarr who heard the furious drum pounding and constant hitting of spears on the ground, walked out of his room to look at the soldiers.

He saw the fervent fury that burned in their eyes, as well as the aura of vengeance that exuded from their bodies and said within himself, his eyes shining with a terrifying murderous light, 'These soldiers deserve the opportunity to exact great retribution upon that damned tribe that suddenly invaded and attacked our kingdom unprovoked.'

He looked at his dad who looked like a world-crushing knight in the massive, bulky armor that he wore and sharpened his gaze.

His dad was wearing a large, shimmering black armor that covered his body from head to toe, with each part that composed this armor being twelve inches thick.

If one weighed each part of the pieces that constituted this armor, one would be more than shocked to know that each of them easily weighed far above seven tons.

Grinning, he said, 'I do forget how powerful my dad could be. Maybe because I became something that could end rows of grand nations and empires in my past life.'

'He alone can definitely contend with large armies of massive kingdoms and wipe them out.'

'That Nhongluh tribe will surely cease to exist after today. But they deserve it. And if any other kingdom was involved in this, they will be wiped out as well.'

'We won't show ourselves weak to any region. Rather, we will show how terrifyingly strong and powerful our kingdom is." Vhelgarr said, his internal voice growing louder as his eyes shone with blazing ambition—a great and unyielding ambition to surpass all forces in the world.

Taking a second glance at the armor his father wore, which radiated a strongly suffocating feeling that would flood the minds of normal people with dread and make him seem like he was a war-loving belligerent deity, Vhelgarr suddenly recalled what the armor was made from and shook his head.

Then he said with a grin on his face, 'Why does he even need armor? Though the armor is powerful, his skin is far stronger and more durable than it.'

'Perhaps he did that to stir up more spirit in the soldiers, showing them that he is powerful and can go to war with divine gods if they truly existed.' Vhelgarr said, smirking from where he stood as he looked at his dad that looked totally invincible and godly in the shining, colossal heavy armor he wore.

'I could copy this style in the future when I am leading my own great army of immortals. Haha.' Vhelgarr said and chuckled, amused by his thought.

Then he went back into his room, waiting for the news about the complete obliteration of the Nhongluh tribe from the world.

...

After sailing through the sky, the ships that contained soldiers of the Blue Crescent Kingdom began to arrive in the region that belonged to the Nhongluh tribe.

The region was large, such that it was twelve times bigger than the Blue Crescent kingdom. But it was a barren, infertile place. Nothing too remarkable could be seen in the region, except for towering, marvelously built structures, which was shocking, given how uncivilized these people were.

The Nhongluh tribesmen saw the large ships that sailed through the sky above their land and shouted towards them in anger.

Now full of rage, they began to grasp long spears which they threw at the ships, wanting to bring them down.

Speedily coordinating themselves after a tactful understanding, they threw tens of thousands of burning-tip spears at the ships using nothing but the sheer brute strength they possessed.

Thegarroth who was at the forefront, sneered and simply punched downward in the direction of the incoming spears, releasing a destructively potent wave that groaned through the sky and caused it to tremble, making it seem like it were a seething primordial beast that wanted nothing but the total ruin of everything in its path.

When the shockwave surfaced after erupting from Thegarroth's knuckles, the clouds in the sky instantly cleared, while the spears that traveled in the opposite direction of the endlessly-expanding radial wave, immediately shattered into bits, transforming into nothing but dust that violently dispersed that same moment because of the powerful, earth-stripping windstorm conjured and dragged along by the ruinous wave.

Rrrrrmmm...!!!

The wave simply continued its downward journey to the ground below, seeming as if it didn't come across any form of obstacle in its path. Even the groan that rang out endlessly from it grew more intense, evoking the feeling in one that it thirsted for more chaos and destruction.

The Nhongluh tribesmen saw this and instantly became pale at the sight of the overwhelming attack. Immediately, they scattered off like ants, leaving the area where the seemingly boundlessly wrathful wave was going to impact.

BOOOOM!!!!!

Like thousands of large, mountain-leveling bombs went off at the same time, a thunderous, ear-renting boom pealed out when the wave struck the ground, causing a massive and thick cloud of dust that spanned many miles to billow towards the sky.

When the land became struck by the wave, the entire region actually quivered, while the area that was impacted by the wave became a crater that was a thousand feet deep and hundreds of feet long. Also, thousands of deep cracks could be seen covering nearly the entire region, testifying to the power possessed by Thegarroth.

The soldiers on the ships hailed Thegarroth, burning with intense admiration for him. He was their Leader, their Commander, and King who they loved and were completely pleased with.

With the assistance of ropes tied to the backs of their armors, they began to jump to the ground one after the other, ready to unleash a bloodbath. They were ready to soak the land with the blood of the Nhongluh tribesmen, using it as a sacrifice to bless their new land.

Not long, the soldiers who ran on foot all the way from the kingdom, which were the Blue Crescent Infantrymen, arrived in the region, ready to unleash a storm of retribution upon the armies of the Nhongluh tribesmen.

As for Thegarroth, he remained in the sky, atop his Winged Blackflame Stallion which rampantly growled, seeming like it wanted to partake in the bloodbath that was already happening.

Thegarroth patted it, causing the Stallion to growl much more deeper than before, such that it forced everyone to look up at it. Then immediately, it shot forward to a vast distance like it was a bolt of lightning, where it instantly exhaled a large volume of black-hue flame—a type of flame that was a hundred times hotter than lava from its nostrils like it was a dragon. And when it would open its large jaws, it fired off barrages of jet-black firebolts that shot off as streaks of black light toward the Nhongluh tribesmen.

These firebolts turned into massive explosions, one that outshone the brightness and illumination of the sun by painting everywhere black. As for the explosions, each brimming with the ruining force of unearthly maelstroms a thousand times stronger than the combined mights of hundred cyclones, instantly disintegrated everything in their paths. It was utter destruction, making the Etheriabeast seem like a messenger of chaos and devastation.

The soldiers chased and slaughtered the Nhongluh tribesmen, ruthlessly slashing their bodies entirely open or cutting their limbs and heads off.

Despite the Nhongluh tribesmen having a far bigger number than the Blue Crescent soldiers, it was a one-sided bloodbath.

"Die!" A soldier shouted as he raised his sword to behead a Nhongluh tribesman. But then, his body suddenly shattered into bloody fragments, leaving the smell of iron in the air.

Thegarroth who was overseeing the battle from the sky, had his powerful ears pick up on the abrupt death of one of his soldiers. Then he immediately turned around to look at where the soldier disintegrated to pieces and suddenly caught sight of two people standing in the distance.

One wore a flowy white gown, had fair beautiful skin, intense crimson eyes, and waist-long violet hair that fluttered in the wind. While the other who was towering in size and wore dark green armor, held up a large mystical hammer that emitted an invisible aura that heavily pressed down upon the earth, while gleaming brilliantly in the rays of the evening sun.
