He was driving smoothly, and I was trying my best not to make a sound, but he still knew.


I stayed in the house and looked outside the window, good, Vernon was talking to Adonis. Would he take Adonis with him? He didn't want to take me but he would take Adonis?


I wanted to wait for them to finish talking but I thought he might see me if I did, so I just hurried and went to the truck. I opened the backseat and climbed in, hiding beneath so he couldn't see me when he approached the truck.
