“What are we going to do now, Alpha Edgerton? The south flank was already scattered and defeated by the rogues. We can’t move forward anymore.”


Evander silenced for a second, thinking another strategy after Alpha Darren’s squad failed to break in to the palace. “Gather your army to the west and join with Alpha Sandor and Nial. I had already sent a message to them that you three will gather forces and breach the enemy’s defense on that side. Leave the south flank. Let Alpha Alec take it.”


“Alec?” I gasped, wide eyes. “Is Mel with him? How are they? Was he successful in breaching &nbsp;the east side?”


“Mel is in a treatment facility with Misha. They are assisting the wounded there and are helping the healers with the supplies. She’s been asking for you, though. I had a feeling she didn’t know about… uhhh… Evander did.”


Evander shot Kian a piercing sideful glance, and Kian just cleared his throat and decided to just shut his mouth after his Alpha’s warning.
