Five years ago, Emily's world shattered when she found her mate and husband, Alpha Christian, in the arms of her half-sister Lucy. Heartbroken, she decided to leave her mate and pack, to raise her unborn children alone.

THE ALPHA QUEEN'S RETURN

The murmurs in the room stopped immediately I walked in,the room cast in sudden silence. The gazes of the elders fixed on me as I took my seat at the head of the table.


They stared at me for a moment, before they spoke up.


“Emily.” One of the elders started, choking on his words as I shot him a stony glare. “Alpha Emily.” He instantly corrected it.


“We heard some news about you meeting with the small packs along our border.” He said and I could already sense the scepticism in his voice.


“Yes, and?” I asked him with a raised brow.


The elder stumbled under my cold gaze, scanning the room for support. “You failed to secure the alliance, are you sure you have the abilities to lead this pack?.” He finally spat out.


I stared at him for a moment, my eyes flashing with fury till he cowered under my gaze. “I did not fail Elder, the meeting was merely adjoined and I am still pursuing the alliance.”


“We heard…..” Another elder started but I cut him off mid-sentence.
