LUCY'S POV
I slammed the double doors of the house behind me, the sound echoing through the grand halls of the mansion.
My chest was pounding as I stormed inside, my heavy steps loud in the foyer. My plan was perfect, I sent the men to kidnap Emily's children from the school.
I would take them for a paternity test and if they were Christian's I would have sold them separately to the children peddlers.
But I failed, again. I couldn't control myself when the man I hired to tail Emily handed me the pictures of Emily's children around a table with Christian and his mum.
They all looked good, so happy, with bright smiles across the table as they had lunch together like a real family. And the investigator had told me that Emily had visited Christian's office twice that week. It was all just too much for me to take.
