CHRISTIAN'S POV
The sound of the engine roaring drowned out her screams and shouts as she hurled herself at me trying to stop me in any way she could.
“You’re running insane, Christian!” she shouted, trying to open the door, but I had already locked it. “Let me out of here!” She shrieked.
I gripped the steering wheel tightly, till my knuckles turned white, my heart racing in my chest. I wasn't thinking, I just wanted to get her far away from him.
I refused to look at her eyes, my eyes trained on the road as I sped down the driveway, leaving the sounds of the party behind as we drove away.
Blood rushed in my ears as I slammed my feet hard on the gas pedal, the car surged forward, the highway moving fast before us.
I tightened my hold on the wheel as I tried to concentrate on the road ahead. The alcohol I downed earlier coursed through me, dulling my senses. But the rage and jealousy fueled me further as I pressed my feet even harder.
