CHRISTIAN'S POV
I paced inside the hospital room, my mind reeling from everything I just found out about Lucy, my mate.
My whole imagination of Lucy has been dashed just today, I've found out so much about her that my mind was spinning.
The woman I thought was sweet and innocent was now revealing to be anything but. She was revealing to be manipulative and cunning and every time we spent together every word from her started to feel like a lie.
How could I have been so blind for so long, she made me seem so naive as the truth finally came to light.
The situation with her seemed much deeper than I could imagine. How far have her lies gone? How could I even find out?
The more I thought about it, the more suspicious I got. Now even the accusation that Emily used black magic to bind me seems absurd and I couldn't stop the pang of guilt that flooded me at the thought.
Emily was always honest to me, but Lucy spun a web of lies so thick I couldn't see through.
