While ranpo and kojin were making their exit through the peaceful forest and into the wasteland, they were having a discussion, ranpo asked kojin "So what's up? I heard something about monsters appearing all over some countries.", kojin replied "Yeah, you heard right. Monsters have been appearing lately. Not just any kind of animal like monster that you see in the forest, I'm talking about monsters that humanity has never seen. Some speculate they came from another world, while scientists think it's some kind of new life form that far surpasses mutation of any sort. In other words they don't look like they belong from this planet.", ranpo after hearing kojin just had a taunting smile on his face, like as if he wanted to start teasing "Oh? kojin, don't tell me you are one to believe in life forms in other worlds.", kojin gets annoyed as he grabs ranpo by the hand and started to squeeze it like he wanted to break it, ranpo jokingly yelled "Okay I'm sorry! I'm sorry!". A few moments after they're little joke, they kept walking, kojin continued to explain "You see, there was an army of monsters that attacked an entire country recently, it was about 5 continents away from us. The country was know as the country of black bomb, they specialised in creating nuclear weapons. In terms of military power, they are low relative to the city, they can keep up a good fight, but they'll get crushed by us in no time.", ranpo replied kojin while teasing him "Wow, so competitive and power hungry.", kojin got slightly annoyed as he exclaimed to ranpo with slight annoyance "I'm trying to be serious you numb skull of a friend. Seriously, why do I always have to deal with you?", ranpo replied with a soft but teasing smirk "Coz we are soul mates?", kojin grabbed him by the hand again like he wanted to break it while ranpo replied jokingly "Okay! I get it, I get it. Please let go!" After their little tomfoolery, kojin said again "An army of them are headed to our continent, and with the information i have acquired, it would take about 2 days for them to get too our continent. There's a high possibility that we might encounter those things, but I got it covered. Right now, there's another pressing matter", ranpo asked while being confused "Another pressing matter? But what could that be? I mean, we literally just spoke about monsters just wiping out entire countries ." Kojin explained to ranpo "You see, there was another monster that we encountered 1000 miles away from the city, there were two of them in number. Both of them seemed to have a human like being standing on their heads, although the thing was wearing a mask. I can bet that was their leader.", ranpo now seemingly taking the situation seriously the says "Okay, If my brain hasn't completely grown old yet and incapable of reading the situation", kojin whispered to himself "Which it has.", "That means from the looks of it, the monsters are on a divide and conquer plan.", ranpo explained. He then proceeds to continue "The weaker one's are going after weaker countries and dominating them with numbers, while the stronger monsters are coming after the stronger countries.", kojin turned back and asked "What do you mean?", ranpo continued to explain "The country of black bomb is one with Powerful military might, but not as strong as the countries on our continent. Every country in our continent is known as the strongest countries in terms of military might and scientific power with the only countries in another continent being able to compete with us being the lightning country in the storm continent. But you see the countries in our continent such as The city, The country of raijin and the country of steel, all have powerfull military might.", kojin then puts the pieces together "So you're saying that the bigger monsters are coming after the stronger countries? Hm, that makes sense. And it makes sense too. The weaker one's are using numbers to overthrow the weaker nations, while the stronger monsters that are few in number are heading our way." Ranpo then asks "So what are going to do?", kojin just smirked softly and said "Isn't it obvious?...", his smirk widens while looking like a crazed beast with no control, along with his black destructive energy flowing over him softly but in a violent manner "We obliterate and incinerate them to nothing. And if more happen to show up and we can't take care of them, we'll just let *HIM* handle them(Referring to diablo)", ranpo just had a nervous smile on his face saying to kojin "Sometimes I wonder how we're friends with that unnecessary madness of yourself.", kojin and ranpo continue to walk "Well whatever, I can't say I don't like it" ranpo said this to kojin while stretching, kojin replied with his hands in his pockets "Oh shut it." Meanwhile back at ranpo's house in the forest, alex while finishing up his meal said to himself as he looked at the sky "Wow, the sky is kinda clear today, as always. It's so refreshing.", alex keeps quiet for a while as he was just looking at the sky, he gets up and then started to fold the tables and keep everything where it's supposed to be. After washing the dishes and cleaning the place up, he goes outside,lays on the ground and just looked at the sky, he started to flashback too all the insane fights he has had over the past few months, he said to himself "Im kinda shocked I've come this far, some kids who were my age should have died because they didn't have enough power to survive, but here I did. Surviving hole's being blown through my chest, surviving stab wounds from giant scorpions that should be putting me at deaths door, having an insane drive to become stronger no matter the situation. Not to talk of the fact that I'm a literal demon. I can't help but to wonder if this is plot armour or what.", alex just turns to the side as he says to himself "Well it doesn't matter at all. All I can do is count my blessings.", he looks back Into the clear sky with a smirk on his face and says "Hm, I really am blessed huh."
