Ezren was a bounty hunter.
In this world, death was a given. Walk down the street, and for every ten people, at least one would be a lunatic—or worse, a cyberpsycho who had lost all control.
The mega-corporations treated human lives like trash, corruption and prostitution ran rampant, ingrained into the fabric of society.
A person’s true nature shone brightest when crushed beneath the filth of this world.
Technology might have advanced beyond imagination, but this place was nothing short of a living hell.
And yet…
“Ohhhh!! This place is amazing!!”
“This gear is awesome! I want it!”
“Even the enemies have unique designs! And the difficulty is brutal!”
A strange force had suddenly appeared.
Outsiders.
Or, as they called themselves—players.
There were many of them.
They could respawn.
And most importantly—they had terrifying potential.
That’s why Ezren had to find a way to win them over.
After all… having a bunch of powerful but easily manipulated people on his side was far better than working with traitors. Or worse—those on the verge of turning cyberpsycho.
“EZREN!! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!”
“HUSBAND, DON’T LEAVE ME!!”
“Ezren! Please accept this gift! I’m begging you!!”
For some reason… these players seemed to really, really like him.
