A Deal with Money

Elian headed to the bank, dragging behind him an enormous amount of crystals. When he walked inside, the bank staff froze in shock—such a quantity of crystals was rarely seen, even by the wealthiest hunters.

Approaching the counter, Elian lazily said:

— Where can I drop all this off?

The bank employee, barely catching his breath, silently stared at the shimmering pile. Then, in a panic, he turned and ran to the bank director.

A few minutes later, the bank director appeared—a man in a formal suit. Upon seeing the mountain of crystals, he too was stunned.

— Sir, where did you get all of this?!

Elian sighed in irritation.

— Just convert them into money. Or should I deal with you another way?

A heavy silence filled the room. The bank director felt the aura radiating from Elian—oppressive, terrifying. He swallowed hard and immediately commanded:

— All employees, start processing the crystals immediately!

— Please wait a bit, sir, everything will be ready soon, he added nervously.

Elian waved his hand dismissively and left, heading to the nearest café.

Several hours later, he returned to the bank.

The bank director immediately came out to meet him, holding a card in his hands.

— Sir, here is your card. The funds have been credited—five million yuan.

Elian took the card without even bothering to ask how much that was in regular currency, and silently walked out.

As he strolled through the streets, he realized he needed one important item—a phone.

Quickly finding the right store, he stepped inside. The displays were filled with different models, but Elian didn't know anything about them.

He approached the seller and simply said:

— Give me the most expensive phone.

The seller blinked in surprise, but without asking questions, brought out the latest model.

— That'll be five hundred thousand yuan, sir.

Elian silently handed over his card. A few seconds later, the payment was processed, and the seller noticed the customer hadn't even taken his card back.

— Um… sir, here's your card. The payment has gone through.

Elian paused for a moment, then took the card without a word and left, not even glancing at the receipt.
