Beyond the Barrier

After the Guardians' beam of light engulfed Elian, he couldn't escape. The pressure was unbearable, the space around him distorted, and the air vibrated with energy. But then he closed his eyes — and activated the Supremacy of the Void.

Darkness, like liquid vacuum, slowly began to consume the beam. The light trembled, wavered, losing shape and strength. The Guardians were shocked — their ultimate strike was disappearing before their eyes.

— This... is impossible, one of them muttered.

When the beam finally dissipated, Elian used Shadow Step without warning. He appeared behind the female Guardian, his body a flash of darkness, and immediately activated Death Rend.

A series of strikes, each movement — lethal. The Guardian couldn't defend herself. She fell, dissolving in the glow of her own energy.

The remaining stood still.

— You got rid of one of us. She was the weakest. She always got in our way, one said coldly. — Now we can go all out.

Light coiled around the Guardians, warping reality. They were covered in radiant armor, half-merged with their bodies. It resembled the darkness that cloaked Elian's body — but in the opposite element.

— Well then… Just like in superhero movies, Elian quipped with a smirk, drawing his blade.

— THEN LET US BEGIN.

A barrage of the Guardians' strikes descended upon him. Their movements were so powerful and fast, the air around them exploded. Everything nearby — trees, rocks, even the ground itself — vanished under the force of the battle.

Elian fought them evenly, countering blow for blow. His blade glowed with darkness, as if thirsting for blood.

But at one moment, he slipped — his foot slid on a stone, and for a brief instant he lost balance. That was enough.

— Now! — one of the Guardians shouted.

The four unleashed a simultaneous barrage of blows. A flash of light and a thunderous roar. Smoke shrouded the battlefield.

— Fell so quickly… one Guardian said with a smirk.

But from within the smoke came Elian's voice:

— WORLD BREAKER.

Darkness rose into the sky. From it came a strike the size of a mountain, crashing down upon the Guardians with a fury that could shatter worlds.

And all around vanished into blinding darkness.
