Seven years later, Levi, a high school dropout with a dying mother is called to face the trials of the dream world.
He either survives and awakens a talent or fails and becomes a soulless nightmare.
However, what difference does it make when the trials never end?

This is what planet Earth has become after the cataclysm, an event foretold by an unassuming entity.

How were we supposed to reconquer the earth when billions died in a span of months, not from the madness of our weapons of mass destruction but from a common aspect of life?

Although the earth's workforce crumbled and a massive number of corpses caused the birth of plagues that had never existed before 2028, new beings emerged.
Those that became the living incarnations of the nightmares in our dreams and those that gained power men could only dream of.
“Aberrants!” That’s what we called them because they were people with inhuman powers.
Men given talents that can crumble a government and cause the extinction of humanity as we know it.
Less than 0.033% could become an aberrant. Some could turn invisible, some could turn people to stone with a single gaze, some could run miles in seconds, all these were just the average ones.
The elite few, those with powerful desires, transcended all the limits. Their strength made up for all their weaknesses, transforming them into something far more dangerous.
Entities whose presence alone could either protect or annihilate the world.
