Adalyn's smile widened when she saw how Logan's eyes grew bigger in want after she pulled away from having the kiss he now craved. Finally, his eyes weren't expressing boredom but want and desire.
The distance between them couldn't be calculated and of course, the real Adalyn would be too scared to stand that close to Logan. His blue eyes sparkled as they looked into her seductive gaze.
She could tell that there were a lot of things going on in his mind but she couldn't fathom what they could be. "Do you want to kill me now because I tasted your stiff lips?" She took a few steps back, not because she was scared but because she was drawing him even closer to her.
The side of Logan's lips stretched into a smirk. "Whoa…Logan," Adalyn was surprised to see him give such a reaction.
But before she could even do anything, Logan walked closer to her but seeing that she kept going backwards as he came closer, his strong arm that was capable of carrying her whole, went around her waist and tugged her swiftly to his body, slamming her body on his.
Adalyn sucked in a breath because she was stunned by his strength. Her eyes landed on his hand, making her see the veins from his hand. 'He's so strong…' she thought.
"I like the way you kiss me, Adalyn…" his voice was deeper and thicker, causing her to quiver in his arms. Their bodies were so close, his smell filled her nose.
"What are you going to do about it?" She pushed him even harder.
Logan's eyes dropped to her lips. 'I shouldn't kiss her with my eyes open,' he remembered her advice and closed his eyes so he could kiss her but when he found out it wasn't working, he opened his eyes to see Adalyn pushing her head back.
In want, he used his other hand to grab her neck in a gentle way and reached for her mouth. Logan kissed his wife, aiming to have her for the night and create a baby. He needed to have a child.
Adalyn accepted the kiss and rose his spirits by responding so well to the kiss. She never expected to kiss Logan Hudson, the man she was scared of and wished she never married.
Something struck Adalyn's mind suddenly as she found herself in another world. Logan wasn't holding her neck anymore but wrapping her head with his hand so he could get enough of her mouth but he just couldn't.
He wanted more and more as the kiss progressed into something Adalyn couldn't take, so she pushed him away and took steps away. "I told you, I don't want to have sex with you!" Panting as if she had just finished racing, she yelled at Logan.
Logan was quiet for a while, his body recovering from the unexpected intense kiss he had just experienced with his wife.
'She says we aren't the same,' he smiled because he wasn't wrong. His wife had two personalities and he knew why but he wasn't going to tell her what it was yet.
When Adalyn saw him smile, she glared at him with tears dropping from her eyes. "You were going to force me?" She became even more scared, causing anger.
Logan, knowing that Adalyn didn't know she had two personalities, decided not to tell her that she made him want her that way.
"Let's eat," he wanted the topic dead because he had nothing to say.
"I hate you," she said angrily. "I hate that I married you and I hate that I live with you and I hate that you make it seem like…" Logan interrupted her by carrying her princess style.
"Will you have dinner with me?" He asked one more time as she struggled to get off his arms.
She threw him a killer glare. "I don't want to eat anything you cook, you bastard!"
Logan only chuckled and brought her to bed. He placed her gently on the bed and wrapped her with the thick bedsheet. "Then go to sleep," he said.
Logan turned away from her. "I would never force you to do anything, Adalyn, just like how I didn't force you to eat…" he turned to face her. "...we kissed each other because we wanted it and I want you to know that…I like your lips," he smirked but then it turned into a smile.
"I'll watch you sleep while I eat but if you still want to join me…"
"Go away," she turned her back against him and faced the other side of the room, pondering about the scene she found herself in earlier. She touched her lips, reminiscing how smooth and wet the kiss was. 'How did that happen?' She was confused and extremely lost.
Adalyn had a lot of questions and was angry that she couldn't get answers from anywhere. However, she was hungry, very hungry.
No, she promised to starve herself to death. She could start the journey all over!
Adalyn couldn't sleep so when Logan finished his dinner, knowing she hadn't fallen asleep, he decided to leave the room. Perhaps she hated his presence so much.
"Logan Hudson," her voice was soft.
"My wife…" he was ready to attend to her needs. He was about to switch the lights off and leave her room when he heard her small voice.
"Don't…" she watched him come to stand in front of her.
"What do you want?" He asked her.
"I like that we aren't going to share the same room," she said.
"I like it too."
"Great!"
So Logan continued his journey to leave her room. "I'm scared, Logan…" she muttered to herself. "Don't leave me." Adalyn thought he didn't hear her so she decided not to watch him leave her. She also couldn't tell him directly to stay.
"It's our wedding night, little monster," Logan went to sit on the couch he was sitting on before. "Shouldn't we as a couple spend it together?" He wasn't suggesting, he was giving her a reason to make himself stay and to also make her accept him staying.
"So you are staying on the couch?" She asked him.
"Do you want me in your bed?" Logan didn't sound like he was learning English this time.
"No sex," she said.
Logan came to sit on her bed. "We'll eventually do the sex thing, Adalyn. I want you…"
"I don't," she cut him off.
"...I want you to be my children's mother so we are doing the sex thing soon," he declared.
Adalyn swallowed, glaring at him. "Are you going to force me?"
"No. Go to sleep, Adalyn," he was done with the topic.
"Don't leave," she said quietly and turned to her side to sleep.
"Someday you'll understand everything," Logan uttered, giving Adalyn even more questions. "Good night wifey and if no one congratulated you. Congratulations to both of us on our marriage," he said and looked at his ring, smiling. He got the woman he wanted after all.
