Awake Of The Devil

Aurora slept that night thinking about the future while hoping for the best.

Aurora knew she wasn't strong enough despite being born with the devil's blood.

The only power Aurora had was seeing the past and it wasn't what she was eager about.

The preparations went on going and the students of Morsvil high were excited for the dance.

Aurora and Mateo saw each other at night when Aurora was less busy and they grew closer.

The night came for the rise and shine dance and everyone excitedly entered the school hall with their various partners and masks.

The dance involved masks wearing and it was what inspired the students more,it was always a glorious and eventful night were they dance away with their partners.

Aurora walked around ensuring everything was alright while the loud music played.

She noticed Joshua behind the piano who immediately waved at her.

The hall was decorated beautifully,it had an old fashioned decor yet it looked amazing with the disco light shining from above the ceiling.

The students had arrived and were all enjoying themselves filling the room.

"You did a fantastic job"praised mrs Gerald.

Aurora smiled at the woman who wore a neoclassical dress with her mask on.

Aurora looked no different but she didn't wear her mask and held it in her hand.

She wore a white floral gown that had little petals to it and her black hair left opened.

This was the night her grandfather would be awoken and she was nervous as ever meeting the most evil man in the world.

Soon the six came in,all wearing their masks and changing the atmosphere of the party.

Everyone turned to them while the girls ogled around.

Mateo left his friends and went to the headmistress side.

"I think we should leave miss Ross"the headmistress stated still smiling.

Aurora glanced at Mateo who was wearing his mask and he gave her a nod.

The trios left the hall without anyone's notice heading to the school's garden.

The school's garden was a place forbidden,it had a closed rusty gate where a guard stood guarding the place.

Seeing them,he greeted before opening the gates for them.

The night was eerie and it made Aurora more

fearful,it was dark and just the school's dimmed

light and the moon gave light to them.

She held her gown at one side not to get it ruined seeing the rough spots and spiky leaves.

Mateo noticed how anxious she felt and went closer to her, tugging her hand in his. He had taken off his mask on his way here.

Soon they walked to what looked like a grave and there Constance stood at the side waiting for them.

"Where are the others?"Aurora whispered to Mateo,

"They don't need to be here"he whispered back.

"Rora dear"Constance called with a smile,

Aurora greeted the woman back,

A tombstone was entrusted to the graves below where Aurora read the name

'Orson and Hilda'

Soon the guard from earlier arrived and started digging up the grave.

"Are they both buried here?"she questioned,

"Yes"came the short reply from Mateo.

Constance stood in front of the opened grave staring at the coffin before chanting some words.

"I will need your blood"she glanced at Aurora.

Aurora frowned before Constance stretched her hand out and Aurora gave her hand.

Mateo held her other hand close knowing she was going to feel a sharp pain.

Constance fingers grew, they were black and long with a sharp edge.

She cut through Aurora's palm and pressed the blood below.

Aurora flinched from the pain and she felt her eyes turn dizzy.

Mateo held her closely with widened eyes,

"I don't think she will want to be here when Orson

is awake,she is asleep"Constance informed.

Mrs Gerald turned to Mateo after giving one look to this witch she didn't trust much.

"Take her to the dorm"she ordered.

Mateo held Aurora in his arms and glared at Constance before taking the girl away.

Soon the coffin opened, there Orson laid frozen when Constance cut her self and threw blood in.

The blood dropped on Orson's mouth and red eyes opened.

Suddenly a wave of cold wind blew and the coffin was empty.

"Where is he?"mrs Gerald exclaimed.

"Here!"

They looked forward to see Orson taking a sip from the guard neck, draining him of his blood.

Mrs Gerald frowned upon seeing a vampire drinking from another vampire.

She felt abruptly disturbed and knew why Constance didn't want Aurora being here.

Orson's eyes were still red and his fangs out sucking the vampire's blood.

Soon he dropped the guard on the ground who was already lifeless.

"Missed the taste of that"he licked the blood particles off from the side of his lip.

"Longest time Constance"Orson smiled.

His eyes turned to stare at mrs Gerald who felt scared thinking if he would attack her.

"Let her go Orson"Constance glared at him.

"Fine"he chuckled.

In a fast movement he got to mrs Gerald holding her by her neck.

The woman's heart jumped seeing his tight hold on her.

"Seems you are having fun Orson"Mateo remarked walking in the dim-light.

Orson frowned seeing Mateo and he immediately let go of Mrs Gerald.

"Forgive his manners piper"Mateo apologized,

"Seems he needs to learn how to greet people better"Mateo threw insults which made Orson smile.

"Oh I missed you"Orson grinned.

"Couldn't say same"Mateo rolled his eyes.

"We should leave here since he killed the guard"Constance stated.

"I knew Orson would make a mess,Raymond will be here to clean this off"Mateo sighed.

Soon the three left to the old church building with Orson bugging Mateo.

"You sent my daughter to the future"Orson's eyes widened hearing the informations.

"It was a nearest future and she was adopted by a nice couple, didn't want her dying or suffering"Constance explained not to get in Orson's bad

book.

"I have a grand daughter"Orson smiled.

"Orson you need to do all you can to stop those sicko vampires"Mateo voiced out.
