Plans To Awake The Devil

"Aurora seems to be absent today"Isaac voiced out,

All of them glanced at Peter including Mateo who remained rather silent.

"She is around,must be busy"Peter responded facing his food.

Mateo stared at his plate a little while before getting up and leaving the cafe.

"Mat!"jennifer called but he already walked away leaving them dumbfounded.

"Seems the love birds are having an argument"Raymond smirked,

"Shut it ray!"Melanie glared at the boy.

Meanwhile Mateo walked out of the cafe searching for Aurora but couldn't hear her voice through his vampire senses.

He decided to take a turn to the library seeing as she wasn't in any of the classrooms.

Entering the library Mateo went to the deep ends where he usually hang around with his friends.

There Aurora sat asleep while holding a book closely,it was an uncomfortable way to sleep.

Mateo smiled seeing his sweet girl looking more innocent like a white sheep.

He carefully took the book from her when her eyes opened to meet his.

"Mat"she whispered

This side of the library was calm and secluded as no one came here,just Mateo and Aurora was seen here.

She stared in his eyes for a while before breaking the silence,

"Sorry for waking you"he apologized.

"What are you doing here?"she questioned standing up.

"Came to find you"came his subtle response.

"I'm sorry about yesterday mat"she apologized

Mateo frowned and with his vampire speed he got more closer to her and pulled her by her waist.

"I should be the one apologizing,I promise to tell you anything you want to know"he whispered.

Aurora shivered as he brought his hand removing strands of hairs from her face.

His touch gave Aurora's heart several jumps feeling his cold hand on her face.

She stared at him before shaking her head,

"I know what happened mat"came the words from Aurora.

Mateo frowned and then Aurora explained her dream to him and his mother's message to her.

"My mother is a witch"Mateo was shocked hearing the words.

He had always known his mother to be a normal human but hearing she was a powerful witch and had made her death stunned him.

"Orson is buried,he had told me after turning me

to bury his body,he is buried in the grounds of Morsvil high"Mateo informed.

"We can't awake him now,there is an upcoming celebration"Mateo added

Aurora nodded knowing she was also hosting the event,

"I should visit Constance"Mateo informed.

He was skeptical about Aurora meeting his mother since many vampires were still around and they didn't know if the original vampires had died that day as everyone had disappeared after the fight leaving Orson and Hilda on the floor.

The rogue vampires were still being created and vampire hunters came in which still lead them

to the source of the creations.

"You should go and get some food and worry less"

he stated worried.

Both of them left the library with Mateo leaving the school premises.

Aurora entered the cafeteria and saw the students whispering amongst themselves.

She took her food and headed to an empty seat when Penelope walked up to her.

The girl greeted her with a smile,

"Can I seat miss?"she asked to get a nod from Aurora.

"What happening penny?"Aurora questioned,

"A girl was found in her dorm room unconscious and now she is still in the school clinic but people are saying she is dead"Penelope explained in a whisper.

Aurora frowned worried and thought if it was a vampire's work.

"You stay in the school dormitory right?"Aurora asked to get a nod from the girl.

"What is it like here?"Aurora questioned more with curious gaze,

"What do you mean?"Penelope stared at her.

"Do you see anything unusual about the school?"Aurora asked

"No,the school seems clean apart from the scheming students"she says with a deadly glare directed at the students she hated associating with.

Aurora sighed and continued eating her food wondering what news Mateo had for her later as

he had gone to speak to the witchy nurse.

Aurora sat on her bed while fidgeting through her laptop,her eyes glued to the screen.

She was busy making little preparations on the rise and shine event,she had to send her ideas to mrs Janet who knew a lot about the celebration.

Suddenly she felt the cold breeze blew through her closed window.

"Mateo"she gasped seeing the man standing by her window side.

He walked closer to her with a gloomy face before seating on her bed.

Taking her hand he held them closely making them look smaller compared to his larger palm and slender long fingers.

"You have to be extra careful now Aurora"Mateo says with worry shown in his tone.

"What wrong?"aurora whispered,

He still held her hand closely like she would disappear if he let them go.

"The vampires are not dead and evil is lurking away,Orson needs to be awaken as he is the only

one who can get rid of these vampires before another massacre occurs"

Aurora's eyes widened a little hearing these informations,her mind went back to her dream which she didn't want to recall,she has made friends here and her aunt and cousins and Mateo were here,she didn't want them dying.

"But you are vampires,you all can stop them"

Aurora says staring at his dark eyes.

"I know you must be scared knowing your grandfather is the devil but I assure you Orson isn't as scary as the book presumes him to be"Mateo assured her.

Aurora was scared of Orson coming into the world and destroying the peace causing havoc.

Even though she was eager to meet this grandfather of hers,she was scared of what he was capable of since he was known to be selfish and dangerous.

"When are you planning on waking him?"Aurora asked,

"Piper is already aware and said we should perform the ritual on the rise and shine dance which is in a week time"responded Mateo.
